ASD's ACSC warns that N-able N-central contains two authentication-bypass vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-18556, CVE-2026-18577) affecting current versions; patches and Hotfix 2 were released in August 2026 and organisations (particularly MSPs and their customers) should prioritise upgrading, reduce internet exposure, monitor for IoCs (vendor detection scripts available), and contact ACSC if suspicious activity is detected.
