Build to Runtime, Covered: A New Standard for Container Image Visibility

This report describes Wiz’s new container image page, which delivers full lifecycle visibility and context for container images—from build to runtime. It highlights capabilities to surface risky base images, map where images are deployed and the associated blast radius, validate scanning across CI/registry/runtime, automatically discover registries, and trace vulnerabilities back to the source repo and Dockerfile, enabling teams to prioritize and remediate issues efficiently.
