How Wiz and Torq Combine to Mitigate Existential Cloud Security Threats

This document outlines how integrating Torq’s no-code security automation with Wiz’s Cloud Detection & Response and Security Graph supports a coherent CSIRP across NIST 800-61 phases. Using a hypothetical brute-force attack, it illustrates preparing with GuardDuty and EventBridge, enriching alerts with Wiz’s contextual visibility, automating analysis and containment via Torq (e.g., adjusting Security Groups/ACLs and enforcing MFA), and leveraging audit trails for post-incident improvements, with the goal of reducing alert fatigue and accelerating response.
