Defend Agentless Workload Detection: Bringing Visibility to Blind Spots in Threat Detection

This document announces Wiz Defend’s Agentless Workload Detection, a capability that ingests local logs from traditionally unmonitorable cloud appliances (e.g., firewalls, gateways) to provide deep visibility and correlated threat detection across cloud control plane, network, and workload activity. It positions the feature as closing a major visibility gap without agents or performance impact, enabling better detection of lateral movement and investigations, and is framed as part of a unified cloud detection and response vision.
