Wiz Defend: Delivering the Promise of Cloud-Native Security Operations

This report discusses the real-world exploitation of two PAN-OS vulnerabilities that enable unauthenticated RCE and privilege escalation, noting rapid weaponization and a widespread campaign that infected a large fraction of internet-exposed appliances within 24 hours of a public proof-of-concept; it uses this case to highlight cloud-specific detection challenges and pitches Wiz Defend’s agentless, context-rich approach for detection, investigation, and containment.
