Log4Shell 10 days later: Enterprises halfway through patching

Ten days after disclosure of Log4Shell (CVE-2021-44228), Wiz and EY analyzed over 200 enterprise cloud environments and found 93% at risk with an average of 45% of vulnerable cloud resources patched by Day 10; the report highlights that 20% of at-risk workloads have high privileges, 7% are internet-exposed, 45% lack endpoint agents, and remediation is complicated by embedded library usage, vendor delays, and subsequent related CVEs.
