Wiz introduces agentless solution for detecting host and application misconfigurations

This document announces Wiz’s agentless host configuration assessment, extending cloud configuration rules to OS and application layers with a query-based engine and OVAL-schema custom rules. It includes over 7,000 built-in checks mapped to CIS Benchmarks (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows Server, NGINX), generates host configuration findings, and provides compliance scoring and heatmaps to pinpoint weak areas. The feature is available to Wiz Advanced customers with options for built-in or custom rules and a live demo.
