Wiz + HCP Terraform: Close the IaC-to-Cloud Infrastructure Security Gap

This report describes the Wiz integration with HashiCorp HCP Terraform/Terraform Enterprise that embeds preventive IaC security into Terraform workflows using run tasks and a unified policy engine, enabling consistent policy enforcement across code, pipelines, and runtime. It also introduces automated code-to-cloud lineage via Terraform state to trace live misconfigurations to specific files and lines in source control, accelerating targeted remediation, reducing drift, and maintaining GitOps workflows, with HashiCorp citing internal adoption and future automation enhancements.
