Bringing Visibility to Kubernetes: Unified Inventory and Network Insight

This report introduces Wiz’s Kubernetes Bill of Materials (KBOM) and Network Graph, which provide real-time visibility into cluster technologies (including unmanaged resources) and map service communications to external platforms and cloud services. By correlating runtime, network, identity, and vulnerability context, the features help teams detect version drift, identify exposures (e.g., vulnerable Ingress-NGINX deployments), validate configurations, and accelerate investigations, driving improved risk reduction, cost optimization, and application reliability.
