The update enables security, DevOps, and FinOps teams to detect new services automatically, govern usage via statuses (required, approved, unwanted), and enforce policies with alerting and automation when unreviewed or unwanted services appear. The goal is to improve compliance, reduce risk, and lower costs associated with unauthorized or redundant technologies, with the feature available now.
