Wiz announces support for Google Workspace identity modeling within its CIEM for Google Cloud, providing centralized visibility into Workspace-managed identities and permissions, identification of Super Admins and excessive privileges, built-in controls to detect IAM misconfigurations (e.g., no MFA, inactive users, exposed resources), and graph-based mapping of effective access to limit lateral movement. The release adds 50+ near real-time Google Workspace threat detection rules (e.g., many failed logins followed by a successful login on privileged accounts) and correlates events to GCP context for guided remediation and least-privilege enforcement.
