Russian Hackers Use Bulletproof Network Infrastructure to Evade Detection

This report describes Russian-aligned cyber threat groups UAC-0050 and UAC-0006 using sophisticated bulletproof hosting and offshore legal fronts to conduct phishing and malware campaigns (NetSupport Manager, Remcos, SmokeLoader), target Ukrainian government, energy firms and NGOs, and carry out psychological operations including bomb threats; it emphasizes persistent infrastructure obfuscation via IP/ASN migrations and the challenges of attribution and takedown.
