Rockstar Games confirmed on April 14, 2026 that threat actor ShinyHunters exploited a supply-chain SaaS integration (Anodot) to obtain authentication tokens and access a connected Snowflake data warehouse, resulting in the public release of approximately 78.6 million internal analytics records for GTA Online and Red Dead Online; the published dump reportedly excluded passwords, payment information, personal data, and GTA 6 assets, and highlights risks from token-based trusted integrations and cloud-supply-chain vulnerabilities.
