ShinyHunters breached third-party analytics vendor Anodot and leaked data tied to Vimeo — primarily video metadata, titles, and roughly 119,200 user email addresses (some with names). Vimeo says no video content, login credentials, or payment card data were exposed; it revoked Anodot access, engaged forensic support, and notified law enforcement while the investigation continues. The incident highlights the growing risk of SaaS supply-chain compromises and the need for stricter vendor data-minimization and access controls.
