Operation PowerOFF Takes Down 75,000 DDoS Attackers and 50+ Service Domains

Operation PowerOFF is a global law enforcement campaign (launched 13 April 2026) that disrupted DDoS-for-hire “booter” services by issuing over 75,000 warning notices, seizing infrastructure and databases containing more than 3 million user accounts, arresting four people, executing 25 search warrants, and taking down 53 domains; Europol coordinated analysis, crypto‑tracing and intelligence sharing and authorities are transitioning into prevention efforts to reduce demand and deter future offenders.
