Infostealer Malware Fuels Corporate Breaches Through Personal Devices

The report warns that infostealer malware has erased the boundary between consumer infections and enterprise breaches, noting a 2025 analysis of 10,198 compromised users which shows that technically proficient employees are commonly victimized; infected business software compromises corporate systems in 50% of cases, gaming lures account for 43% of infections, and one in six gaming-related victims held active corporate access. It recommends strict application allowlisting and strict separation of personal and corporate device use to reduce credential and session-exfiltration risk.
