Humanity Protocol suffered a $36M token theft on 2026-06-08 after a phishing attack compromised a director's private keys and enabled the theft of ~141.18M H tokens; the project is migrating to a newly audited ERC-20 H token and will perform a 1:1 airdrop to pre-exploit holders, exclude attacker-linked addresses, manage liquidity pool holdings separately, and establish a compensation fund while preparing the new H token to serve as native gas for the relaunch of Humanity Mainnet.
