US Indicts Russian Nationals for $62M Cybercrime Scheme Targeting Critical Infrastructure

On July 14, 2026 the US Department of Justice unsealed an indictment charging three Russian nationals—Alexander Volosovik, Kirill Zatolokin, and Yulia Pankova—with operating bulletproof hosting companies (Media Land and ML.Cloud) that enabled ransomware, malware, and phishing campaigns resulting in more than $62 million in damages across 21 US states and multiple countries; the indictment includes charges of conspiracy to commit computer fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering, notes prior sanctions, and the US State Department has offered up to $10 million for information leading to their capture.
