UK Designates IRGC as National Security Threat Amid Rising Antisemitic Attacks

The UK government has designated Iran’s IRGC, the Islamic Movement of Companions of the Right (IMCR), and Russia’s GRU Volunteer Corps as national security threats, proposing new powers that could impose up to 14-year sentences for supporting these groups and life imprisonment for sabotage, and committing £250 million over three years to enhance security for Jewish communities.
