CISA Launches CI Fortify to Enhance Critical Infrastructure Resilience Amid Cyber Threats

CISA has launched the CI Fortify program to help critical infrastructure operators plan for controlled isolation (operating without internet or third-party services for extended periods) in response to threats from state-sponsored hackers such as Salt Typhoon and Volt Typhoon; the pilot will provide assessments and guidance to ensure continuity of essential services like electricity and water and is intended to scale as CISA staffing expands.
