Ukrenergo Issues Warning on Phishing Emails Spreading Malware

Ukrenergo has warned of a surge in phishing emails impersonating the company that use official-looking sender addresses and malicious attachments (disguised as outage schedules or invoices) to distribute malware and steal sensitive information; the campaign primarily targets users of several Ukrainian personal email domains, and while attribution to Russia is suspected it is not confirmed. Recipients are advised to delete suspicious messages and rely on Ukrenergo's official channels for outage information.
