UMag Solutions Launches F1Mag for Naval Mine Detection in Strait of Hormuz

UMag Solutions has introduced F1Mag®, an airborne magnetic sensing system capable of rapidly detecting naval mines (to 15–30 m) and submarines (to >500 m) from the air, covering up to 6,000 hectares per hour without deploying vessels or personnel. The system has been tested with military units, integrates with multiple drone platforms, and is being positioned in response to concerns about unaccounted Iranian sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz and increased NATO patrols.
