Signal Alums Reveal ‘Encrypted Spaces,’ a System for Making Private Collaboration Apps

Encrypted Spaces is a proposed architecture and code repository intended to make it easy for developers to build end-to-end encrypted collaborative applications (beyond messaging) by using encrypted change logs and zero-knowledge proofs/roll-ups so a server can attest to correct application state without accessing plaintext; the project invites cryptography researchers and developers to review and build on the prototype.
