Nearly All Google Pixel Phones Exposed by Unpatched Flaw in Hidden Android App

iVerify reported that Showcase.apk, a third-party app used for in-store Pixel device demos, contains a serious vulnerability that can take over a phone due to high privileges and poor code quality; Google and vendors say the app is no longer used, Google will remove it from supported Pixel devices, and there is no evidence of active exploitation.
