Identity Access Management Strategy for Non-Human Identities

This blog post argues that modern IAM must treat non-human identities (service accounts, workloads, automation, AI agents) as first-class governed assets: maintain an authoritative inventory, adopt short-lived and federated authentication (OIDC/OAuth2, managed identities), enforce least privilege and unique identities per workload, automate lifecycle and rotation, and implement continuous secret exposure monitoring to reduce blast radius; it also outlines a phased roadmap and cross-functional ownership model for mature NHI governance.
