Keyfactor Allies with IBM Consulting to Spur PQC Adoption

Keyfactor has partnered with IBM Consulting to accelerate enterprise adoption of post-quantum cryptography by integrating Keyfactor’s PKI, discovery, and certificate lifecycle tools into IBM’s cybersecurity practice. The report underscores the looming risk of “Q-Day”—potentially by 2029 or sooner—when quantum computers could break legacy encryption, the possibility that nation-states are already harvesting encrypted data for future decryption, and the multi-year, interoperability- and funding-challenged effort required to migrate to PQC, urging organizations to start planning now and consider integrator support.
