A hacker group calling itself “Internet Yiff Machine” claims to have stolen more than 8.3 million records from P3 Global Intel (Navigate360), containing crime tips and extensive personally identifiable information (names, addresses, SSNs, DOBs, license plates) as well as some tipster account credentials; parts of the dataset were reportedly verified by Straight Arrow News and received by Distributed Denial of Secrets, while Navigate360 has not confirmed a breach but has engaged external forensics and some police agencies have advised caution when submitting tips.
