Ent Emerges From Stealth With $100M for Intent-Based Security

Ent, a security startup founded by former Microsoft security leaders, announced a $100M seed round and the general availability of an "intent-aware workspace security" platform that uses lightweight endpoint agents to evaluate human and AI agent intent across applications, browsers and data flows to apply policy and perform just-in-time interventions; the cloud-hosted product integrates with common EDR, SIEM and identity tools and will be showcased at Black Hat.
