Web Bot Auth: Verifying User Identity & Ensuring Agent Trust Through the Customer Journey

This document announces DataDome’s support for the Web Bot Auth standard to cryptographically authenticate AI agents across web interactions, enabling high-confidence identity verification and granular access policies while reducing impersonation and operational overhead; it showcases example HTTP signature headers, integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and complements identity with intent-based detection via Agent Trust to continuously assess agent behavior, providing guardrails that allow legitimate automated traffic while blocking abuse.
