FBI Disrupts Operations of the Dispossessor Ransomware Group

The FBI and international law enforcement seized two dozen servers and nine domains tied to Dispossessor (aka Radar), a RaaS double-extortion operation that emerged in August 2023 and attacked at least 43 organizations across North America, Europe, Asia and South America; the group exfiltrated data and used leak sites and direct outreach to pressure victims in sectors such as education, healthcare, finance and transportation, and while the takedown disrupts operations, authorities warn the group or affiliates could reconstitute.
