Google Patches 429 Chrome Vulnerabilities in Major Browser Update

Google released Chrome 149, a large stable update that fixes 429 vulnerabilities across rendering, graphics (ANGLE), networking, extensions and other components. The release includes over 100 high or critical flaws — notably CVE-2026-10881 (ANGLE out-of-bounds read/write, CVSS 9.6) and CVE-2026-10882 (use-after-free in Networking) — and Google reports no confirmed in-the-wild exploitation; organizations are advised to prioritize patching given Chrome's broad attack surface.
