Quantum Threats to Zero-Trust: Security Leaders Must Act Now 

This advisory warns that advancing quantum computing threatens widely used public-key cryptography (e.g., RSA, ECC), enabling harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks that can expose long-lived sensitive data; it argues that zero-trust controls alone cannot mitigate this risk and urges immediate preparation by adopting post-quantum cryptography, building crypto-agility, inventorying long-term sensitive data, piloting PQC, updating procurement, and educating stakeholders.
